As Vice President of the Board of Directors for LICC, I have been a championing advocate of PFY for almost a decade, in a relationship that began when my production company partnered with PFY on a fundraiser when I directed William Finn's *Falsettos* in New York City. Like this groundbreaking musical that powerfully impacted LGBTQ+ representation, PFY's mindful, cutting edge programs have had a profound impact - not only on the thousands of LGBTQ+ individuals they have directly served, but on countless Long Islanders whose friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members are on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Through community education and an eclectic myriad of programs and services, PFY continues its mission, daily, of building happier lives for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. I could not be more proud of the work we do.
