Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester Silver Linings Benefit FAQ’s

 

A virtual benefit is a first for CEW so we thought an FAQ of what to expect might be helpful! 

 

Is the Benefit live on Zoom or prerecorded? 

Our benefit will take place on Zoom so we can all see each other live and interact via chat. 

 

What time does the Benefit start?

Beginning at 7:20pm, you'll see an on-screen countdown clock and scrolling journal ads. The program itself will begin promptly at 7:30pm with a toast to our community. Our advice: sign in early so you don't miss a moment!

 

How long is the Benefit?

1 hour. 

 

What is the cost?

$180 per person/$360 per family. Ticket and Journal Ad packages are also available.

 

Is the cost of my ticket tax deductible?

All but $20 of the ticket cost is tax deductible. 

   

When do I get my link?

You will receive an email with a Zoom link to the Benefit on Thursday, May 13.

  

What is the deadline for journal ads?

Journal ads will be accepted through Monday, May 10.

 

How long will the auction run and when will winners be announced?

The auction will go live on Sunday, May 2 at 8:00am and end on Thursday, May 20 at 11:59pm. Winners will be notified on Friday, May 21.

 

What does my donation support?

All funds raised support the Annual Fund which provides Emanu-El with critical budget support and ensures that we can welcome anyone as a member, regardless of their financial circumstances.
