Richard Spitz
Richard has been married to Jill for 35 years and they have two adult children, Jenny and Max. They have lived in White Plains for the past 25 years. Prior to retirement, Richard was the Director of the Wall Street Division of UJA Federation New York and the Westchester Regional Director for UJA. Before UJA, Richard was with ADL and JNF. He serves on the boards of WJC, and WFUV, a non-commercial public radio music station. He also serves on the Campaign Committee for White Plains Hospital and is a leader with the Zion Forever Project (Zion National Park). He is a graduate of Stony Brook University and holds a dual Masters Degree in Special Education and Education Administration from Bank Street Graduate School. Richard is a mentor and a philanthropic advisor to many. He enjoys landscaping, music, creating and collecting art, composing haiku, travel, yoga, Healing Touch, philanthropy and working toward Tikkun Olam.
