Marc Klee
Marc Klee has been an active volunteer for Jewish causes ever since he joined Beth El Synagogue Center’s Religious School Board more than 25 years ago. In addition to serving on numerous committees at Beth El, Marc has co-chaired the Rabbinic Search committee, been a long- time Trustee, and has held numerous positions, culminating in two terms as president. In 2011, he joined the Board of the Westchester Jewish Council, where he is currently the Treasurer and has served as Vice President, Secretary, as well as chair or co-chair of the Audit, Finance, Investment, Mosaic, and the Synagogue President’s Roundtable Committees. In 2011, Marc also joined the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s (“USCJ”) METNY Advisory Council and subsequently served as an officer, including a four-year stint as Senior Vice Chair and participating in various national USCJ committees and subcommittees.
Marc has an MBA from The Wharton School and has been involved in portfolio management since 1977. He managed a technology mutual fund for 25 years. Along the way, he has been a general partner of various entities in areas ranging from private equity, the development and ownership of hotels and the ownership and operation of minor league baseball teams. Marc is a prolific walker and exerciser and a big fan of the Jets, Rangers and Yankees. Despite his many accomplishments in the business and philanthropic fields, Marc is most proud of his wonderful family. He and his wife Barbara have lived in New Rochelle for more than 30 years, where they raised two incredible sons, Robert and Brian.
