It has been over 20 years that Nino and I have operated Red in the community of Huntington. And for almost the same amount of time, we have had the honor of partnering with Temple Beth El to help those in need within our community.

 

Historically, each autumn began with the planning of the Temple’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, for which we composed a menu and, with the organizational skills of the Temple members, cooked and delivered over 200 dinners. Over the last couple of years, as a direct result of Covid, our collective efforts increased both in intensity of execution and in the number of local people in need, growing to nearly 300 dinners all packed for distribution to families and individuals.

 

We are so grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special endeavor, which makes a difference to so many people, and we hope that this wonderful tradition carries on for years to come.
