For generations, the phrase “Chazak, Chazak, V’Nitchazek” (be strong, be strong, and we will strengthen one another) has served as a rallying cry for the Jewish community and as a direct connection to the Torah. At the Schechter School of Long Island, we understand that developing strong Jewish identities is the key to the future of the Jewish People. With this in mind, we are proud this year to honor members of our community who have demonstrated a true commitment to Jewish education and to our children, and thereby to the strength of the Am Yisrael. Each of our honorees represents the best of what the Schechter community has to offer.
