Vision starts with history, to which one adds equal parts prophecy and hope. At the Schechter School of Long Island when we talk about our vision, we take an expansive view. We appreciate our more than fifty year history of providing excellence, community and Jewish values to thousands of students. We understand that moving ahead, our primary goal remains to seed our students’ futures, providing the educational and social-emotional nurturance required to form roots, and a strong trunk from which their branches and leaves can grow and flourish.
