Public Health Response Team
Isaac B. Weisfuse, MD, MPH, has participated in Schechter Manhattan’s Public Health Response Team since its inception. His background includes having been Deputy Commissioner at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where he worked on infectious diseases and emergency preparedness and response during some of the prior emergencies (9/11, anthrax, H1N1) and consulted for the CDC. Currently, he teaches at the Cornell University MPH program and recently served as a consultant to the World Health Organization on COVID-19. He and his wife, Evelyn Horn, are the proud parents of Ari Weisfuse ('06) and Lois Weisfuse ('08).
