AMERICAN FRIENDS OF REUTH is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to support Reuth in Israel through fundraising and community outreach. Founded 83 years ago by German immigrants, Reuth began as a women’s social service agency feeding the needy. Reuth has grown exponentially and is comprised of three main entities: homes and day care centers for the elderly, subsidized housing for Holocaust survivors, and the Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital, Tel-Aviv’s largest premiere rehabilitation facility. Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital provides multidisciplinary, state-of-the-art care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic injuries and illnesses. Most recently, it has emerged as a leader in rehabilitating recovered COVID-19 patients. The comprehensive care provided by Reuth also includes therapy for eating disorders, speech therapy, cognitive therapy, pain management, and sexual rehabilitation. The holistic approach to rebuilding lives makes Reuth a compassionate and outstanding institution for which we are proud to represent.
