Aviva Almog, 55, from Ramat Gan, always regarded herself as healthy person.  Even in her wildest dreams, she could never have imagined that a simple flu she contracted would progress to a life threatening illness. But after two days of a cough and high fever, she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and paralysis of her arms and legs.  She was put on a ventilator, and her family was invited to say their good byes.  After six weeks on ventilated support, she was gradually weaned off, but she found herself having to learn to breathe on her own all over again, with the help of Reuth’s treatment technology and dedicated staff.
