About Reuth
AMERICAN FRIENDS OF REUTH seeks to build relationships in the USA to support the growing demands of the renown Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital. Founded 82 years ago, it was a social service agency meeting the needs of poor holocaust survivors. Always in tandem with society’s needs, Reuth grew to provide long term medical care for all in need; whether a patient has a chronic illness, traumatic injury, or eating disorder, Reuth has expanded its reach to all in need of medical intervention. It now includes a pain clinic, outpatient eating disorder treatment and housing for the elderly.
The Rehabilitation Hospital in Tel Aviv is the largest of our institutions and is exemplary for its state-of-art rehabilitation and technology. The medical care provided by all members of the health care team is achieved in an atmosphere of dignity and compassion.
