Dr. Norman Blumenthal has been a voice of calm and support for all of those who need him in all years, but this year he has done above and beyond - we recognize and honor you this evening!

While many know our family more recently from our experience with Covid, many do not see the behind the scenes work that our parents do for OHEL. Despite the hectic year we have all had, our parents’ energy and work for OHEL has far from dwindled. When the world was hunkering down, our parents sped up and were committed to the needs of the community at home and at large. They brought light and positivity back during these difficult times, and highlighted the importance of OHEL’s work each and every day. We know they have been a rock and inspiration to all of you, but as children we can say we are beaming with pride to be a Garbuz this year in particular. May they continue to be wholeheartedly committed to the OHEL cause and mission, and share their light with Am Yisrael.
