Lenny Tanzer is the innovative and dynamic founder and President of Patient Care Associates, Inc. His keen understanding of twenty-first century healthcare coupled with his visionary thinking have catapulted his company from a modest healthcare provider to a leader in the mobile diagnostic testing industry in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Lenny’s uncompromising need to provide outstanding healthcare to an ever-growing senior population emerges from a desire to enhance quality and length of life through innovative and exemplary practice. As a healthcare professional with over 45 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to providing enhanced medical care to residents at sub-acute nursing facilities, long-term care facilities and physician house call programs. To date, Patient Care Associates, Inc. under Lenny’s leadership provides mobile diagnostic testing services to over 70,000+ patients in 350+ long-term facilities, assisted livings, psychiatric hospitals, and correctional facilities.
Lenny’s dedication and contributions to the healthcare industry have been recognized by numerous professional, religious and charitable organizations. Currently, he is on the Board of Trustees at the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation and Chairman of the Board of Managers, ParkerCare, L.L.C. He is also a Member of the Health Sciences Advisory Council at Columbia University Medical Center – Presbyterian Hospital. Additionally, Lenny has been awarded the Corporate Medal of Honor by the United Hebrew Geriatric Nursing Home and the Village Business Legends Award by VillageCare Nursing and Rehabilitation; he is also the recipient of the highly coveted “Distinguished Trustee Award” from The United Hospital Fund for 32 years of service on the Board Directors of the Peninsula Hospital in Queens, New York; and, on behalf of Patient Care Associates, Inc., Lenny has accepted the Outstanding Service Award from Brooklyn United Methodist Church Home, Eger Lutheran Health Care and Rehabilitation and the “ArchCare Partnership Award” from The Archdiocese Healthcare System.
