During this critical time, when the suicide rate is up, the work that The Long Island Crisis Center provides to help those who are vulnerable is critical.  Hearing a friendly, caring, supportive voice on the other end of the phone when life seems unbearable can make all the difference between life and death.  Volunteers are here to answer our life saving lines 24/7, 365 days a year.
