Murray Voroba (Moshe Aharon Alter ben Yosef Binyamin) was the devoted JCAB Ritual Director for over 50 years. Together with his wife, Deena, z”l, he raised a loving family, served the Atlantic Beach community, and contributed to the spiritual growth of his JCAB family. Murray’s sincere Avodat Hashem, service to G-d, was on display through meticulously reading the Torah, leading davening for the congregation, and with his uplifting shofar blowing and High Holiday prayers. He took pride in carefully selecting and preparing beautiful Lulav and Esrog sets for the members and derived great pleasure in teaching Torah portions and Haftarot to generations of Bar Mitzvah boys. Murray said Kaddish for countless members’ loved ones, diligently reminded the members of upcoming yahrzeits, and maintained the dignity and sanctity of our Shul. His warm smile, candor, and keen sense of humor welcomed members and visitors to the JCAB, and his devotion to Hashem and dedication to community should be an inspiration to us all. May Murray's memory be for a blessing.
