A warm, kind, forward thinking and visionary leader, Dr. Kathleen Gallo's career is replete with tremendous accomplishments at both the personal and professional levels.  As the founding Dean of the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing, Kathy's passion for nursing, coupled with her drive, allowed her to successfully open a school of nursing, inclusive of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies, within a short six years.  One of the keys to Kathy's success is that she does not know the definition of the word failure. 

 

Thank you for your many years of partnership, friendship, and for raising the bar on the professional practice of nursing.  Congratulations to you on an uber successful career.
