Dear Dad,

 

First, I want to congratulate you on this amazing honor.

 

One thing that you have always shown me is that nothing is impossible. Whether it is starting a shul, being on the board of multiple community organizations or saving lives, you are always able to accomplish it.

 

I cannot tell you how proud and lucky I am to be your son and have the ability to learn from you. You are not only my dad, but you are my best friend. Words cannot describe how I look up to you and hope to be like you one day. 

 

I hope I am fortunate enough to follow in your footsteps. You are a role model to our entire family and community. Whatever obstacle comes your way you give it your full commitment and attention. Throughout your life you have led by example and have always proven how important family, religion, hesed, and a community are.

 

I am so impressed by everything you have accomplished and cannot wait to see what you achieve next.
