Hannah Druckman
HaZamir Silicon Valley
Hannah is thrilled to be working with the dedicated, passionate teens of HaZamir as the conductor of HaZamir Silicon Valley, now in its seventh year. Hannah has taught choir, orchestra, composition, and general music on the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. For many years, she tutored teens and adults in cantillation, B'nai Mitzvah preparation, and Hebrew. A string player as well as a vocalist, Hannah enjoys performing jazz violin and singing in the Peninsula Women's Chorus. Currently, Hannah maintains a private piano, violin, and viola studio, working with students of all ages. She holds a BA in English from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters in Music Education from The Boston Conservatory. Hannah lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Moshe, and their children Elijah and Abby, where she bakes up a storm in hope of making the ultimate chocolate dessert.
