Roï Azoulay
HaZamir Dimona
Roï is in his 2nd year conducting HaZamir Dimona. An orchestral & choral conductor, he was born in Israel and grew up in Dimona. Roï graduated with honors from the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in conducting. He has conducted many professional orchestras around the globe, among them the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Roï served as Music Director of Congregation Shaar Hashomayin in Montreal for six years and won the Grammy award for his exceptional collaboration with the late Leonard Cohen as conductor and arranger in his last album.
