Teddy Klaus

Teddy studied music and physics at Wesleyan University, and music theory and choral conducting in graduate school at the University of Michigan School of Music. He is the Music Director at Temple Micah in Washington, D.C. He conducts the choirs and instrumentalists, plays the piano, teaches music in the religious school, and tutors B’nei Mitzvah students. Teddy is a past-President of the Guild of Temple Musicians, an affiliate of the American Conference of Cantors. He has served on the board of the American Conference of Cantors, the Joint Commission of Synagogue Music of the URJ, and Transcontinental Music Publications. His music has been published by Transcontinental. Teddy has taught music at several Washington area Jewish Day Schools and has written music for D.C. area dance companies.
