Marla Aviva Bentley is the Director of Music of Temple Beth Israel in Skokie, Illinois, where she has served since 2011. She has conducted HaZamir Chicago for 5 years.  She is the Immediate Past President of the Guild of Temple Musicians, an affiliate of the American Conference of Cantors. Marla serves on the faculty of the URJ summer camp OSRUI, and is currently pursuing a second Masters degree in Jewish Education from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.
