Mindy and Alan Schall

 

Golda Och Academy is thrilled to announce Mindy and Alan Schall as the 2023 Spring Gala Honorees. As a Jewish day school, it brings GOA great pride to see our graduates grow into upstanding, Jewish leaders who live and breathe our core values every day and pass them on to the next generation. Mindy ‘97 and Alan ‘92 reside in Livingston and are the proud parents of Emily ’22, Sophie ‘25, Brandon ‘26 and Zoe ‘30. They have dedicated their time, resources and talents to further the mission of Golda Och Academy. “Golda Och Academy is our second home,” said Mindy and Alan. “We spend our time being involved in every aspect of school life - from raising funds to serving lunch.”  Our school is truly fortunate to have Mindy and Alan’s tremendous support and leadership.
 
Alan, a real estate developer and partner at Atlantic Realty in Woodbridge, NJ, is a GOA Board of Trustee, Chair of the Building Committee and former vice-chair of GOA’s Board of Trustees. He is the Israel Bonds Signature Society Chair and Board Member and Executive Committee Board Member of Camp Ramah Berkshires. Alan is also past president of their synagogue Etz Chaim in Livingston. He is a founding Board member of the American Friends of Israeli Navy Seals.  Mindy has spent countless hours on the Upper and Lower School Campuses between her volunteer leadership roles as the Major Gifts Chair for the Development team, Past President of the Parents’ Association and the Parents’ Association School Lunch Coordinator. She is also the Sisterhood President of Etz Chaim. Both Alan and Mindy were honored by Camp Ramah Berkshires in 2018 and are also supporters of Yad Vashem, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest and American Friends of Israeli Navy Seals.   Mazel Tov to Mindy and Alan!
