Ed Rosenzweig has been active in the FJMC for over 30 years. Over that period of time, Ed and Shirley have raised their three children, who have established their own Jewish families. Ed continues to dedicate his efforts to our Synagogue Shaare Tikvah through the auspices of our Men’s Club. Ed has taken the lead in initiating and continuing our Jewish Holiday Kids Activity Programs for the holidays throughout the year, leading to a Torch Award. Upon retiring, Ed has expanded his teaching horizon by hosting a weekly service-leader training class for our Men’s Club and is including support to the Shaare Tikvah Hebrew School for Bar and Bat Mitzvah training. On top of the training and teaching, Ed is persistent in supporting Shaare Tikvah’s Men’s Club in applying for Torch and Quality Club Awards, while actively taking part in Men’s Club events. Ed continues to be a Men’s Club mensch and we are happy to have him as our Men’s Club Blue Yarmulke Person of the Year for 2023.
