Barry is Olam Tikvah’s current Men’s Club president. Barry and his wife, Karen, a two-term OT Sisterhood president, have been members of Olam Tikvah since 2000. Prior to becoming president in 2022, he served as Men’s Club Secretary and a Men’s Club Vice President. Barry was part of the initial planning committee for Abba, an OT group originally founded for fathers or young children and helped organize the beginnings of the club and events for several years. He regularly serves as a high-holiday usher and volunteers at many other OT activities. His children Reuben and Jacob had brisot in 2003 with Rabbi Kalender, and their daughter, Faith, was named at OT in 2004. All three of his children are graduates of OT pre-school, religious school, confirmation class, and were assistants or teachers at OT Religious School.

Barry is an engineer at The Boeing Company and has recently gotten back into photography as a hobby.
