Eric has been a member of Congregation Beth Emeth since moving into Northern Virginia in 1999. Eric has been an active member of the Men’s Club as well participated in various committees since he joined.

 

In the wake of the recent tragedy’s targeting Jews in their houses of worship, Eric took the initiative to prevent such acts from occurring at Beth Emeth. As a result, he worked directly with Federal and Local law enforcement agencies in establishing, developing and implementing Beth Emeth’s Emergency Action Plan (EAP). This newly created plan and training now serves as a model for other Houses of Worship (for all faiths) to use.

     

Eric is very honored to have been chosen as the 2020 Blue Yarmulke Man of the Year.
