Shaare Tikvah - Dan Lieman
Dan was born in the Bronx, and worked in the Department of Defense for
about 30 years before retiring about 15 years ago. Dan is a significant linchpin to the survival of Congregation Shaare Tikvah. He prepares the weekly lineup of lay leaders for Shabbat services, and fills in for any service required. He reads Torah portions and haftorahs, as required, which is very often. Dan also maintains the misheberach list. He maintains a wealth of Jewish intelligence as well as lots of useless trivia.
