Herbie Mauthner
Herbie was born in Queens, NY and has since lived in Great Neck, NYC and Livingston, NJ. He’s been a licensed professional auctioneer, liquidator and appraiser for over 35 years for many industrial and commercial businesses, including several Fortune 500 companies located across the country.
Herbie has been an active member of the community, supporting numerous Jewish charities as well as fundraising. He joined Etz Chaim when he met Dianne twelve years ago, and right away he blended into our wonderful community. He has taken upon the Gabbai role happily. Herbie never hesitates to step up when called upon, be it for the Shul, for a friend, or for anything asked of him. He is always there when needed and is a true Mentsch
Together with Dianne they have six wonderful kids that they are so proud of: Jonathan, Raquel, Becky, Michael, Katie and Josh.
Michael Rieber
Dr. Michael Rieber, our current Gabbai, is a former co-President of Etz Chaim and has also served as the liaison for the Israel Action committee for our Shul. Mike, together with Sarah, has three children, Emma, Jonah and Sasha. Michael is an Orthopedic surgeon and a former mayor of Livingston. Mike really does not like all this attention.
