Daniel Lugassy
Daniel Lugassy is a junior at Katz Yeshiva High School in Florida. Once he heard about the Emunah Kol HaNearim opportunity, he was sold! The idea of doing chesed and making kids smile was all he needed to know about the program. Daniel was locked in from the start, utilizing his fluency in Hebrew and an Israeli family background to immediately bond with the Emunah children living in the homes. He continues to remain in touch with the boys, forging strong friendships that continue to this day. Daniel highlights how “KH also changed how I think and feel about things, not taking anything for granted.” The KH summer experience benefited Daniel in lasting, positive ways and he will, G-d willing, be back in Israel with them this upcoming summer!
