Jeffrey Brown has served in lay leadership at Beth Avraham Yoseph of Toronto (BAYT) for many years and currently serves as President. A past BAYT vice president and treasurer, Jeffrey led a team that designed and implemented one of the first synagogue security protocols in Toronto and serves on York Regional Police District Two Community Liaison Committee.

 

Jeffrey sits on the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto Professional Advisors Committee and helped establish Canadian Friends of Yeshivat Hesder Lev HaTorah. Jeffrey is involved with Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. Jeffrey is past treasurer of Hamilton Jewish Federation.

A certified public accountant (Massachusetts), attorney and former Big Four partner, Jeffrey is a partner with Fuller Landau LLP where he leads the US and Cross-Border Tax Practice.

 

Jeffrey and his wife Annette live in Thornhill. Their two boys Zachary and Benjamin graduated from Yeshivat Or Chaim. Having recently made Aliyah, Zachary attended Lev HaTorah and served as a lone soldier with the Kfir Brigade. Benjamin currently studies at Lev HaTorah.
