Racheli Marcus has spent her entire life in Springfield, with much of it dedicated to her involvement in Shul. She began her journey in the Shul nursery program and has been an active participant in various groups from a young age. For the past nine years, Racheli has served as a youth leader, dedicating her time and energy to the children of the community. Whether it’s leading groups every Shabbos, setting up and cleaning up after activities, or volunteering as a face painter, Racheli is always there to support the Shul's vibrant youth programs. She has also been a counselor at the Shul day camp for the past three summers, beloved by all of her campers.
Racheli's passion for teaching extends beyond her work at Shul. On Sunday mornings, she teaches at the Hebrew School in Westfield, and she is actively involved in numerous clubs and activities at her school, Reenas Bais Yaakov.
After graduation, Racheli hopes to learn in Seminary in Israel, before pursuing a degree in education and psychology. She is truly honored to receive this award, reflecting her dedication to both her community and her future aspirations.
