Diane Arneth, a lifelong Staten Islander, has been a tireless worker for community health and social justice.  A founder of the Staten Island Teen Pregnancy Network in 1981 and the Staten Island AIDS Task Force in 1988. she served for 10 years as Board Chair of the Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness and led the initial Steering Committee for the Tackling Youth Substance Abuse initiative.   

 

She is a founding member of the Staten Island Not-for-Profit Association, a trade association for local nonprofits, and served on its Board for 6 years, two as Board President. She currently is the Chief Community Services Officer, Sun River Health and Executive Director, Community Health Action of Staten Island.
