Sofie Glassman is a Zionist Jewish activist who lives in East Meadow. She is a Junior at East Meadow High School, where she is president of the Jewish Student Union club. She is also involved in different Jewish organizations, such as Jewish Student Union, National Conference of Synagogue Youth (NCSY), American Jewish Committee, StandWithUs, B’Nai Brith Youth Organization (BBYO), World Jewish Congress, and many more. As BBYO chapter President, Jewish Student Union regional vice-president, and Jewish Student Union international vice-president, Sofie’s free time is dedicated to speaking about issues that the Jewish community faces today. 
 
Sofie’s most recent project is called Stop Jewish Hate and Spread Love, which is an online storefront that sells merchandise with designs made by Sofie. Profits go to helping IDF soldiers and their families. Her favorite pastimes are hanging out with friends and family.
