Lauren Hymowitz, now 27, is a lifelong resident of Old Bethpage. She resides with her parents, Sabrina and Bruce, and her brother, Jason. Lauren and her fiancé Jason Stimler will be getting married in October. The Hymowitz family is involved with Plainview Jewish Center (PJC) where Lauren became a Bat Mitzvah.

 

Lauren attended Plainview-Old Bethpage High School and continued her education at Oneonta College. She always strived for high academic achievement and served in many leadership positions. While in college, Lauren was involved with Hillel, serving as Treasurer and was also the Treasurer for the class of 2017. Lauren was active in the Marketing Club and was Vice President of Communications and Programs. Presently, she uses her accounting skills as an office manager in a successful car dealership on Long Island.

 

Lauren enjoys exercising, concerts, traveling, baking, and time with friends and family. Lauren loves being involved with and spending time at PJC. As a member of Sisterhood this past year she served as Fund Raising Vice Chair and she also used her baking skills to teach how to make babka and a no-bake cheesecake.

 

Currently, Lauren is happily busy preparing for her wedding as well as her career.
