Samantha Graf is a Junior at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK HS. She has one brother, Harrison, a Sophomore at University of Maryland, where he is studying Finance at the Smith Business School. Samantha’s parents, Ronni and Gary, who grew up in Queens, have been married for 25 years. 

 

Samantha is very active in extracurricular activities at her high school. She participates in student government and has been on the board each of her three years at JFK, serving as Vice President and Treasurer. She is also the Treasurer of the Community Service Club which holds events for senior citizens in their community and fundraisers for children with cancer. Samantha is part of the Symphonic and Marching Band where she plays saxophone. She is also learning to play the bassoon. Lastly, Samantha is on the Mock Trial Team and is a member of the Moot Court Club.  

 

Samantha is currently finishing her fourth year as a madricha in the Religious School at Midway Jewish Center. She assists the teachers once a week. Samantha attends Sisterhood events when she can, and also helps to set up and break down events. She has been a “little sister” member of Sisterhood for three years. Together with her mother and role model, Ronni, Samantha has attended and participated in Sisterhood Shabbat for the past four years.
