Rebecca & Jeremy Mittman
Tiferet Award Honorees
Jeremy and Rebecca joined Beth Jacob shorty after moving to Los Angeles in 2006. The couple met in New York City, where Rebecca was set up on a blind date with Jeremy’s roommate. Accomplishing what even Jerry Seinfeld could not, Jeremy managed to pull off the “roommate switch” and the rest, as they say, is history.
Jeremy is currently a partner at the century-old Los Angeles law firm of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, where he specializes in defending and advising employers in labor & employment matters. Rebecca is also an attorney, practicing real estate law at the law firm of Fenigstein & Kaufman LLP.
Jeremy and Rebecca have three beautiful children: Gabe, a sophomore at Shalhevet, Sasha, an 8th grader at Hillel, and Jamie, a 4th grader at Hillel.
The pair love to play tennis together (or against each other) several times a week. Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors and Jeremy is a devoted “phan” of the rock music band, Phish, following them around the country when he can. This summer he hopes to see his 100th show!
Rebecca and Jeremy both provide pro bono advice to Beth Jacob in legal matters.
