Welcome Letter from Gala Chairs

We are excited to invite you to the 2023 Beth El Gala!

At this not-to-be-missed event, we will honor two families who have given so much to our community: the Silverman Family – Jason and Louise Silverman, and Emily Bromberg and Stephen Silverman, and President’s Ne’emanim Service Award recipients Caroline Fox and David Shechter.

Beth El has been home to the Silverman Family for more than five decades. Their multi-generational family epitomizes some of the fundamental attributes of our Beth El community: a place where we join together to celebrate simchas and support one another in tough times, where we sing and pray together, and where we come for comfort. Beth El is a place where we take joy and pride in watching one another’s families develop and grow, and there’s no better example of that than the Silverman family.

Similarly, the Fox-Shechter Family has made a lasting impact on our community through their numerous volunteer efforts. We challenge you to find a part of Beth El that has not been touched by Carrie and/or David! Together with their children, the Fox-Shechter family adds to the tradition of family involvement in our synagogue.

The Gala is our opportunity to express our gratitude to our wonderful honorees, while raising money to continue to support the activities, programs, and services that make our shul so special. Thank you to Beth El’s incredible professional staff and to the dedicated Gala Committee volunteers who have put so much work into making the Gala a success. Thanks also to previous Gala chairs who have provided us with tons of information and support.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, June 8!
