Dear BPY Family,

We are delighted to announce that Ben Porat Yosef’s Annual Dinner will be held on Tuesday, March 4th at 7:00 pm at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey.

As we emerge from Channukah, one of the most beautiful words we share at BPY is “family.” BPY is not merely a school or a community; at its heart, it is a family. It has been truly exciting to watch our family grow over the past few years—not just in student enrollment, but in the diversity of families, communities, and minhagim that now make up our vibrant community.

Within this diversity, we remain united by a focused and carefully nurtured mission to provide our children with an exceptional academic, religious, social, and emotional experience. The Annual Dinner gives us the opportunity to honor those who go above and beyond to ensure that we continue to strengthen and fulfill that mission.

We are pleased to designate two of our past PTO Presidents and current members of the Board of Trustees, Ari Harary and Carly Teichman, as this year’s Guests of Honor. Their unique contributions serve as an example for us all. Much of their work is done behind the scenes, making it all the more important to publicly acknowledge their tireless dedication to BPY.

It is with great admiration that we present the BPY Community Service Award to Dr. Shoshana Poupko. Through her expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment, Dr. Poupko has profoundly impacted our community, consistently uplifting and supporting those around her. Whether in direct service or broader initiatives, her leadership and selflessness embody the true spirit of service. We are deeply grateful for her ongoing contributions.

Finally, we are thrilled to present the Faculty Award to Morah Sharon Rand. Morah Sharon’s gentle, caring nature, combined with her ability to inspire students to reach for what they once thought might be impossible, makes her a true educator’s educator. She is both a model teacher and a beloved friend to the faculty and administration.

We thank you for your continued support and invite the full BPY community to join us as we celebrate the past, present, and future of our community. While the best is yet to come, let us take one night to honor the people and programs that have brought us here, and the exciting path ahead.

Sincerely yours,

Rabbi Saul Zucker, Head of School
Howard Kestenbaum, President
