Dear BPY Family and Friends,

We are delighted to announce that Ben Porat Yosef’s
Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm at Edgewood
Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey. The Annual Dinner gives us an opportunity to
gather as a community to enjoy an evening dedicated to celebrating and supporting our
beloved yeshiva and to highlighting and thanking some of those who help make BPY a
warm and dynamic “home away from home” for our children.

The theme for the 2022-23 school year at BPY is “Chaverim Kol Yisrael,” with various
programming and activities throughout the year highlighting for our students the many
ways that we are all connected to – and responsible for – one another. Community is
the bedrock of Jewish life and of life at Ben Porat Yosef, both in and out of the
classroom. Each of this year’s Dinner honorees exemplifies this principle and has
demonstrated through their actions a deep and abiding commitment to BPY and to the
broader Jewish community.

We are privileged to celebrate the brilliant leadership of Guests of Honor: Elinor &
Maury Litwack and Cherie & Steven Mayer. In addition, we are delighted to recognize
the incredible contributions of Faculty
Award Recipient Stacy Goldstein, BPY’s Director
of Operations. Finally, we are thrilled to announce that Jacklyn Cohen is the recipient of
BPY’s inaugural Young Leadership Award, recognizing the commitment and dedication
of those who are newer to the BPY Family.

A yeshiva day school—as any school—requires a tremendous amount of energy,
resources, and commitment to flourish. BPY has been exceptionally fortunate to benefit
from the leadership and energies of this year’s honorees, all of whom have invested
themselves in the important work of sustaining and growing our very special yeshiva.
Individually and collectively, they are exemplars of what it means to be part of a Jewish
community. We are excited to share their inspirational stories with you as we gather to
celebrate BPY on February 23rd.

Our Annual Dinner benefits BPY’s Annual Fund, which provides essential support for all
aspects of our school’s operations, including curricular enhancements, learning support,
professional development, investments in technology, and our scholarship fund.
Philanthropic support of BPY is essential to the continued success of our unique and
vital mission and represents an investment in the future of our community.

On behalf of the entire BPY Family, we thank you so much for your support and look
forward to celebrating with you at the Dinner.

Sincerely,
Rabbi Saul Zucker, Head of School
Rachel Barber Schwartz, President, Board of Trustees
