Mendy and Simha are extremely grateful to their parents for an enriched upbringing filled with chesed, happiness, and community involvement throughout their lives. Inspired by the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Mendy and Simha have strived to be lamplighters by bringing light to the world, one Mitzvah at a time, in their personal and professional lives. Despite being busy building their careers while raising their children, Mendy and Simha endeavor to be active participants in the Ahavas Sholom Community and encourage others to be as well.

Mendy and Simha originally planned to move to Columbus only for the duration of his residency but have since discovered the gem that is the Columbus Jewish community and decided to stay. They felt welcomed and found the true meaning of community at Ahavas Sholom. Now that they have made a home in Columbus, they strive to spread that same feeling of community, unity, warmth, and inclusivity to the ever-growing Ahavas Sholom family.
