המרוץ יהיה בעיטת הפתיחה לאירועי ציון 20 שנה לספרייה. בעשרים השנים האחרונות ספריית
בנימין לילדים התפתחה מאוסף ספרים קטן ומשוטט לספרייה ומרכז לימודי פעילה, נמרצת ושוקקת
חיים, שבה 38,000 כותרים ו-2,000 מנויים. היא מעניקה עזרה יום-יומית  בשיעורי בית
לילדים הזקוקים לכך, עורכת שעת סיפור שבועית ומקיימת מועדון קריאה חודשי. כמו כן
הספרייה מקיימת תכניות אוריינות שונות ומועדון קוראים לילדים בקיץ שבכל שנה סובב סביב
נושא אחר. כל אחד יכול למצוא בה משהו המתאים לו. השתתפות במירוץ תביא להרגשה טובה,
ותמיכה באבן החן של בית שמש תביא להרגשה נהדרת.

  The run will be the kick-off event of the Library’s 20th anniversary celebration. 
In the last twenty years the Benjamin Children's Library has evolved from a small
roving collection of books to a vibrant library and learning center boasting
38,000 volumes and 2000 members. From  free daily tutoring to weekly storyhour to
monthly book clubs, the library offers something for everyone.  Feel good running
and feel great supporting a local gem of Beit Shemesh.
  The Library is a registered Amuta and is not publicly funded yet. All donations
above the cost of the race will receive a tax deductible donation receipt.
